| In 2004, Sancho-Madridejos Arch. Office (S-M.A.O.) and CA-DESIGN (Department of CA-GROUP) where commissioned to design a Church and a pedestrian Bridge respectively, as public facilities for the Plot-18 in Qingpu, Shanghai. Because of the strong relation between the two projects, they are exhibited together, for the first time. We use three rooms within the Xiaoximen complex to explore the Qingpu Plot-18 Church and Bridge projects, using the same dimensions: text, image, and model. There is an important addition to our installation, the fourth dimension, the future completion of the buildings, on their true site. One Project: the future architectural group at Qingpu Plot-18. Eight Projects: texts, images and models add 6 versions of the Church and Bridge designs. |
